One of the questions I get from parents before their newborn session is, “What do I need to bring?”

The good news? Not much.

My Ridley Park newborn studio is stocked with the wraps, blankets, props, and other items we need to photograph your baby. You don't need to pack a suitcase full of things or worry about bringing your own props.

What I recommend bringing

Bring whatever your baby normally needs when you leave the house — diapers, wipes, bottles or feeding supplies, a pacifier if they use one, and an extra outfit just in case.

If there is something sentimental you'd love photographed with your baby, you're always welcome to bring it. Just let me know ahead of time so I can plan for it.

Don't worry about preparing your baby perfectly

Your baby doesn't need to arrive asleep, and you don't need to stress if they need to eat as soon as you get here.

Newborn sessions are intentionally relaxed. We have time for feeding, changing, soothing and plenty of breaks.

After photographing newborns for more than a decade — and having six babies of my own — I know babies don't follow our schedules.

You bring the baby. I'll take care of the rest.
