Bringing home a new baby is one of those seasons that somehow feels incredibly long and unbelievably fast at the same time. The sleepy stretches, tiny fingers, newborn snuggles — it all changes before you realize it.
If you're looking for a newborn photographer in Media, PA, my goal is to make capturing this time one of the easiest things on your list.
I photograph newborns in my home studio in nearby Ridley Park, where everything is ready for you and your baby when you arrive.
A Newborn Photography Experience That Feels Easy
You don't need to show up knowing what to do.
In fact, I don't expect you to.
I'll guide you through your entire newborn session, from posing and wrapping your baby to helping parents and siblings feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Newborn sessions are never rushed. We leave plenty of time for feeding, diaper changes, soothing and all of the things babies need.
If your baby doesn't sleep the entire time, that's okay too. After years of photographing newborns, I've learned that the best thing we can do is follow their lead.
Newborn Photography Near Media, Pennsylvania
My Ridley Park newborn studio is a convenient option for families coming from Media and throughout Delaware County.
Having a dedicated studio means you don't have to worry about getting your house photo-ready or figuring out where we're going to take pictures.
You simply bring your baby and I'll take care of the rest.
My newborn photography style is soft, simple and timeless. I love photographs that keep the focus on your baby and all of those tiny details you'll want to remember years from now.
What About Photos With Mom, Dad and Siblings?
Yes!
Depending on the newborn session you select, we can include photographs with parents and siblings along with baby's individual portraits.
And please don't worry about having perfectly behaved older siblings.
Kids don't always want to sit still and smile on command — especially when their whole world just changed with a new baby at home. We'll keep things relaxed and work around them.
My job is to guide your family so you don't have to worry about whether everyone is “doing it right.”
When Should Media Families Book Newborn Photos?
If you're currently pregnant, I recommend reaching out before your baby arrives.
We'll use your due date to get you on my calendar and then finalize the actual session date once your baby is here.
But if you're reading this with a newborn already in your arms, don't assume you've missed your chance!
Reach out. If I have availability, I would love to get you into the studio.
Choosing Your Media PA Newborn Photographer
There are a lot of things to think about when choosing the person who will photograph your new baby.
Of course you should love their photographs, but you should also feel comfortable handing your baby to them.
Newborn photography requires patience, experience and the ability to adjust when a baby has completely different plans for the morning.
That's why I want parents to know that there's never pressure for your baby to “perform” during a session.
We take our time.
Your Baby Will Never Be This Little Again
I know everyone tells you how quickly it goes.
They're right.
The newborn stage is such a tiny piece of your child's story, and photographs give you a way to hold onto a little bit of it.
If you're expecting and searching for a Media PA newborn photographer, I'd love to welcome you into my studio and create photographs of your baby and family that you'll have long after this stage has passed.
