Inside My Ridley Park Newborn Photography Studio

A comfortable, private space designed for you and your baby

One of the questions I get from expecting parents is what my studio is like and what they can expect when they arrive for their newborn session.

My private newborn photography studio is located right inside my Ridley Park home and was created specifically for my clients. I wanted it to feel comfortable and welcoming, especially when you’re leaving the house with a brand-new baby and probably running on very little sleep.

Everything we need for your newborn session is here and ready for you. You can settle in, get comfortable, and let me take care of the rest.

A Comfortable Place to Settle In

Newborn sessions aren't rushed, and babies are always in charge.

There is plenty of time for feeding, changing, soothing, or taking a break whenever your baby needs one. My studio has a comfortable space where parents can relax during the session, and there’s room for siblings and family, too.

As a mom of six myself, I know getting everyone out of the house with a newborn can feel like an accomplishment all on its own. Once you get here, I want you to be able to relax.

Everything We Need Is Already Here

You don't need to show up with a Pinterest board or a car full of things for your baby's photos.

My studio is stocked with wraps, blankets, props, and everything I need to style your newborn session. Before your session, I'll learn a little about what you love so I can create something that feels like you while keeping the finished images timeless.

My goal is to make the entire process as easy as possible for you.

Where the Magic Happens

I've been photographing newborns for more than a decade, and safety and comfort are always my priority.

Every baby is different. Some sleep through almost their entire session, while others need a little more time, extra feeding, or plenty of snuggles. I follow your baby's cues throughout the session rather than trying to force a specific timeline.

That's also why I schedule my newborn sessions on weekday mornings when babies tend to be happiest and we have plenty of time to work at their pace.

And Yes, There Is Room for the Whole Family

Depending on the newborn session you choose, we can also photograph parents and siblings.

These often end up being some of my favorite images from a newborn gallery. Your baby will change so much during that first year, but so will your entire family. I love being able to document what all of you looked and felt like during those first few weeks together.

And don't worry about knowing what to do in front of the camera. I'll guide you through all of it.

When Should You Book Your Newborn Session?

I recommend booking your newborn photographer before your baby arrives.

We use your due date as a placeholder on my calendar. Once your baby is born, you'll reach out and we'll choose the actual session date. Newborn sessions are typically photographed during baby's first few weeks and take place weekday mornings at 9am.

If your baby has already arrived and you haven't booked yet, you can still reach out. If I have room on my calendar, I'll always try to fit you in.
